Usurpation d’identité sur les réseaux sociaux : le footballeur Ibrahim Mbaye met les choses au clair
Considered one of the rising stars of Senegalese football, Ibrahim Mbaye is seeing his fame grow rapidly. Unfortunately, this media exposure does not protect him from the pitfalls of online behavior, particularly on social media.
The young prospect has spoken out to denounce the existence of several fake TikTok accounts using his name and image to spread misinformation. In a firm statement, the player clarified the situation for his followers: "I only have one official TikTok account. All other accounts using my name, my photos, or impersonating me are fake."
Beyond the identity theft charges, Ibrahim Mbaye also formally denied persistent rumors of alleged compromising private exchanges. "I have not contacted anyone via private message through another account, and I have never sent private messages to women," he stated, putting an end to all speculation.
Faced with these malicious practices that could damage his image and his fledgling career, the player is urging internet users to be extremely vigilant. He encourages his community not to be deceived and to systematically report any suspicious account using his identity.
