Ramadan 2026 : Conseils pour les Nafila et horaires de prière
February 19, 2026, marks the second night of the holy month of Ramadan in Senegal, a night conducive to spiritual purification and the forgiveness of sins. According to recommendations published by Seneweb, this night offers an opportunity to increase voluntary acts of worship (nafila) with a particularly generous divine reward.
Recommendations for the Nafila prayer of the 2nd night
For this second night of Ramadan 2026, it is recommended to perform 6 rak'ahs, or 3 salams (each salam comprising 2 rak'ahs). In each rak'ah, the faithful should recite aloud: once Surah Al-Fatiha (the "Fatiha" chapter),
5 times Surah Al-Inshirah (Surah 94, also known as Inna a'ṭaynāka or "Inna a'ṭailnaka" in the local transcription).
This practice is associated with a remarkable divine promise:
"The sins of whoever did this will be forgiven; he will receive the graces of a doctor who has cured a thousand sick people at his own expense."
