Ramadan 2026 : Les Nafilas de ce mardi 3 mars et les horaires de prière

March 3, 2026, marks the 14th night of the holy month of Ramadan in Senegal, a night particularly conducive to protection against the fear of death and the questioning of angels, according to recommendations shared by Seneweb. This night is valued for the reward of serenity and peace it brings to those who perform the specific voluntary prayers (nafila).

Recommendations for the Nafila prayer of the 14th night

For this 14th night of Ramadan 2026, it is recommended to perform 8 rak'ahs, or 4 salams (each salam comprising 2 rak'ahs). In each rak'ah, the faithful are invited to recite:

Recite Surah Al-Fatiha once.

7 times Surah Al-Masad (“Issadja a nasroulahi” in the local transcription),

7 times Surah Al-Ikhlas (“Koul hou Allahou ahad”).

After the final salam, it is recommended to recite 70 times:

La hawla wala houwata illa billahi al-'aliyyi al-'azim ("La hawla wala houwata illa bilahi alil hazim").

This practice is associated with a comforting divine promise:

"Whoever does this will be protected from the fear of death, from the two angels 'Muqara' and 'Makiri' who will question people about their deeds; he will have no fear on the Day of Resurrection, etc..."
