Thiès : El Malick Ndiaye reçu par le Khalife Serigne Mounirou Ndiéguene
As a prelude to the celebration of Mawlid-al-Naby of Keur Mame El Hadj, Thiès, the President of the National Assembly, El Malick Ndiaye, visited, this Saturday afternoon, August 30, 2025, the Caliph of Mame Amadou Barro Ndiéguène, Serigne Mounirou Ndiéguène.
A courtesy visit is part of the republican tradition of dialogue and respect towards religious leaders in the run-up to this great spiritual event.
The 140th edition of the annual Gamou of Keur Mame El-Hadji, under the theme: "The teaching of the Prophet Mohammed (Psl) in governance and social life", is also marked by a symposium: "Wadial Gamou Thiès 2025", held this Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the residence of the Hadara Ndiéguène, in Keur Mame El-Hadji, under the theme: "The Hadara Ndiéguène (1825-2025) in the service of Tidjiania - El Hadji Ahmad Barro, a pillar of Sufism".
