Visite : Le premier ministre Al Aminou Lô à Touba
Ahmadou Al Aminou LÔ, the newly appointed Prime Minister of Senegal, traveled to Touba on Saturday to offer his condolences following the passing of Serigne Cheikh Saliou Mbacké.
The Head of Government was thus received by the general khalifa of the Mourides Serigne Mountakha Mbacké to whom "he conveyed the message of the President of the Republic", the Prime Minister's office reports.
Then, he went to the family of Serigne Cheikh Saliou Mbacké to whom he offered his condolences respectively to the current Khalif of Serigne Saliou, Serigne Bassirou Mbacké, surrounded by his brothers and to Serigne Khadim Mbacké, eldest son of Serigne Cheikh Saliou.
He also communed with the spokesman for the general caliph of the Mourides, Serigne Bassirou Abdou Khadre, before performing the Takussan prayer at the Great Mosque of Touba where he also prayed at the mausoleum of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba, the same source reports.
