Amidst colorful stalls, the aroma of spices, and lively conversations in Wolof, the medina stands out as a true meeting place for the Senegalese community living in Morocco. Here, it's much more than a market; it's an anchor, a space for solidarity and sharing.
With the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 fast approaching, which Morocco is preparing to host from December 21st to January 18th, 2026, the excitement is palpable. Shopkeepers, drivers, restaurant owners: all are already mobilizing to support the Lions of Teranga in their quest for another continental title.
Seneweb went to meet them, in the heart of this medina where Senegal lives, breathes and already dreams of victory.
