Hôpital Principal de Dakar : Cérémonie de passation de service entre deux médecins-généraux
Outgoing Director Brigadier General Fatou Fall officially handed over the baton to Brigadier General Coumba Diouf Niang, who now takes the reins of the Main Hospital. The handover ceremony was presided over by Brigadier General (2S) Mouhamadou Mbengue, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Main Hospital in Dakar, in the presence of several military and medical authorities as well as the hospital's staff. Quartermaster Colonel Mamadou Lamine Camara provided technical supervision for the event.
In his speech, Surgeon General (2S) Mbengue paid tribute to "the remarkable work accomplished" by Surgeon General Fatou Fall during her term, highlighting her commitment, leadership and contribution to consolidating the role of the Principal Hospital as a national and sub-regional reference. He also expressed his best wishes to Surgeon General Coumba Diouf Niang, calling for continued efforts in terms of quality of care, innovation and training of health personnel.
This symbolic ceremony is part of the ongoing mission of the Dakar Principal Hospital, a flagship institution of the Senegalese health system and a leading military hospital serving the armed forces and civilian populations.

Cela fait plus 30 ans que je suis pas revenue au Sénégal mais je pense qu’il était notre voisin à la villa rose. En 1988 j étais en classe de 1C2C au lycée LG je le voyais marché pour aller à l école de santé a Dial Diop. Il portait déjà des verres en ce temps là. Je jense il était la où le colonel soya occupé avant eux. J ai oublié le nom de son père. Nous on habitait du côté de la rue Carnot.

Nos gouvernants devraient eu réfléchir sur le système de santé du Sénégal un pays où les populations souffrent pour se soigner

Très content de cette bonne nouvelle pour l Santé au Sénégal et particulièrement pour l'hôpital principal qui sera dirigée par un homme droit, plein de principes et de sérieux. Et cerise sur le gâteau il est d'une générosité sans limite !
