Pénurie de sang : Le CNTS alerte et lance un appel à la solidarité
The National Blood Transfusion Center (CNTS) is making an urgent appeal to the Senegalese population to address the blood shortage plaguing the country. The CNTS indicates that blood reserves are currently very low, due in particular to the decrease in donations observed during Ramadan and Lent, while the needs of hospitals remain critical.
The National Blood Transfusion Center (CNTS) invites all healthy individuals to donate blood to save lives. To facilitate donations, the center will be exceptionally open this Tuesday and Wednesday, after breaking the fast, until 11 p.m.
"Blood is given, it is not manufactured," reminds the CNTS, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and generosity from the population to meet the needs of patients.
