Professeure Awa Marie Coll Seck : « Pas de souveraineté sanitaire sans leadership féminin »
“Women are the true architects of the continent’s health sovereignty.” This is the opinion of Professor Awa Marie Coll Seck, in her plea for women at the opening of the Galien Africa Women’s Forum. According to her, “female leadership is the key to African health sovereignty.”
Professor Awa Marie Coll Seck reiterated her conviction: “The well-being and empowerment of women are the starting point for any sustainable social project.” In the presence of First Lady Absa Faye, the president of the Galien Forum hailed it as “a strong signal and an act of faith in the potential of female leadership.” “This is not a mere formality, but a sincere commitment to the cause of African women,” she declared.
For the former Minister of Health, the continent's development hinges on women's autonomy and empowerment. "There is no health sovereignty without strong, bold, and visionary female leadership," she declared. She emphasized that women are "the first to provide care, to innovate, to build trust," an invisible but essential resource for the resilience of health systems.
Professor Awa Marie Coll Seck also urged decision-makers to go beyond mere inclusion. "Women should not only be invited to the decision-making table. They must be co-creators, strategists, and architects of change."
Addressing the winners of the Galien Forum, she praised "the faces of an Africa that heals, innovates, and hopes," a symbol of a generation that embodies courage and competence. "When the youthful approach prevails, health triumphs. When Africa believes in its daughters, it becomes sovereign."

Comment améliorer la santé des femmes si les femmes qui travaillent dans la santé n'ont aucune compassion envers les malades surtout envers leurs congénères femmes enceintes ou e' travail
