The Rift Valley fever epidemic continues to spread in the Northern Region. In the space of 24 hours, the number of deaths has risen from 11 to 13, confirming the seriousness of the health situation.
According to the latest report released this Wednesday, October 8, several cases of recovery have been recorded, while one patient remains hospitalized at the Saint-Louis regional hospital.
Health authorities say all five districts in the region are now affected by the outbreak, complicating response efforts. Enhanced surveillance and awareness-raising measures are underway to curb the spread of the virus.
