The "And Guessem - Satsus" Health Union and Local Authority Struggle Framework, in collaboration with the Autonomous Union of Senior Health Technicians, is organizing, in a conjunction of struggles, a peaceful march in Thiès this Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., on the route: Croix Rouge-Auchan-Place de France-Gouvernance.

A public demonstration to demand: the immediate signing of the decree integrating Senior Health Technicians (TSS) into the A2 hierarchy; the signing of decrees and orders relating to the career plans of Social Workers, Nursing Assistants, Registered Nurses, Pharmacy Technicians, Hygiene Agents, Maintenance Workers, Dental Prosthetists and other assimilated bodies.

In addition, there is the immediate delivery of diplomas to recipients, unduly withheld for more than ten (10) years by the Ministry of Health, in clear violation of workers' rights; the revaluation of retirement pensions and the optional extension of the retirement age to 65 years.

And Guessem - Satsus demands the immediate payment of the housing allowance to civil servants and contract workers of the Ministry of Health and Social Action, as well as to health workers of local authorities; the immediate settlement of the remaining housing allowance for contract workers IDE, SFE, TSS and doctors, unjustly maintained at 75,000 FCFA in some EPS, instead of the regulatory 100,000 FCFA, a discriminatory and unacceptable situation which must be corrected without delay.

He calls for the immediate recruitment of five thousand (5,000) active contract and community agents for the benefit of the Ministry of Health; the return and reorganization of Social Action, with the full maintenance of the National Centers for Social Reintegration (CNRS); as well as the return of the health infrastructure to the DIEM, unduly taken from the Ministry of Health.

Also, the repeal of the decree establishing the Regional Health Directorates, a source of disorganization, waste and administrative inefficiency.
