Voyage au Sénégal : Le carnet de vaccination n'est plus obligatoire à l'entrée
The Ministry of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad has announced an important update regarding the conditions of entry into Senegalese territory.
From now on, for travellers coming from countries not affected by epidemic or endemic situations, certain vaccinations are no longer required to cross the border.
This measure concerns in particular vaccines against yellow fever, DPT (diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus), measles as well as hepatitis A and B. While these injections are no longer mandatory, they remain strongly recommended in the interest of individual protection and collective health security.
The official statement clarifies that presenting a vaccination certificate is no longer a prerequisite for entering Senegal. This decision aims to facilitate travel and mobility, while maintaining health vigilance adapted to the current international context.
