Présidentielle-2026 au Bénin : Kemi Seba interpelle le député qui met l’opposition "en danger"
His name is known, as are his motives. Michel Sodjinou, the deputy of the opposition party Les démocrates (LD), refuses to sponsor his political party's candidates for the April 2026 presidential election. He says he does not recognize the process that led to their appointment. For him, these personalities (Renaud Agbodjo and Jude Lodjou) were chosen following "manipulation and a lack of consultation." No one would have been upset if his decision did not put his party in difficulty.
In fact, because of this deputy, the Democrats cannot have their duo's candidacy file validated, since they lack a sponsor.
"This is not acceptable."
Kemi Seba, who has friends within this opposition political party, recently published a video in which he challenges Michel Sodjinou. "Knowing today that a crippled, disabled (candidate), without legs, arms, or eyes, can win Wadagni, you cannot blackmail your party by saying: 'if it's not me, I'll paralyze everything.' This is not acceptable. You are betraying the destiny of millions of people, and you will answer for it," he told him, before inviting him to quickly "regain his memory."
"He took advantage of the situation."
"You have 24 hours to regain your memory, to get back on track and give your sponsorship to the LD," the activist told him.
For Kemi Seba, the power in place is not unrelated to this situation.
"Talon was aware of the dissensions, hatreds and resentments within the democrats. He took advantage of the situation," accused the president of the NGO Urgences panafricanistes before warning the regime: "It is better that you let the democrats run so that there is still hope among the people and that they can naively and stupidly believe that it is through elections that we will get out of this."

Non mais heureusement qu'il a été dégagé du Sénégal, il ne pose que des problèmes.
Ils ont vu ce que ça donne le populisme au Sénégal je ne pense pas qu’ils tenteront l’aventure avec un type pareil.
C’est quoi ce langage irrespectueux envers les estropiés ou handicapés? Quel manque de respect vis à vis des personnes handicapées. C’est tout simplement ignoble.
