18 «otages» sénégalais du Maroc : Dakar lance la mobilisation
The action plan for the release of the 18 Senegalese supporters sentenced in Morocco for their involvement in the incidents at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final is underway. Record reports that the organizers, the "Red Lions" supporters' group, civil society organizations, and figures from the sports world, plan to submit a memorandum to the Moroccan embassy in Dakar this Thursday at 3 p.m. "It is synergy that is sought in these demonstrations," the sports daily reports. Before the memorandum was submitted, the supporters of the 18 Lions fans had organized a fundraising campaign on their behalf. Following these two events will be the national march, announced for next Saturday, for the release of those who consider themselves hostages of the Kingdom of Morocco. The marchers, the newspaper specifies, will depart "from the Liberté 5 roundabout to the Jet d'Eau roundabout."
