Saisie de 580 kg de drogue à Fimela : Un des propriétaires arrêté par la gendarmerie de Thiadiaye
There's a new development in the case of the seizure of 580 kg of Indian hemp carried out by the Fimela territorial brigade, under the command of Chief Warrant Officer Serigne Moustapha Guèye. The operation, conducted in the village of Pethie Makha, took place on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 12:48 a.m.
Following a wanted notice issued by investigators, the gendarmes of the Thiadiaye territorial brigade, commanded by Warrant Officer Pouye, successfully apprehended one of the owners of this illicit merchandise. According to Seneweb sources, he is S. Ngom, a farmer residing in Gorou, in the commune of Sessène, Mbour department. The suspect was arrested while attempting to discreetly retrieve his motorcycle from a mechanic in preparation for his escape. He was taken into custody pending his transfer to Fimela.
