Accueil triomphal des Lions à l’AIBD : Les supporters déjà en effervescence
Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD) took on the atmosphere of a popular celebration this evening, on the occasion of the announced arrival of the Senegalese national team. Although the special flight carrying the "Lions" was not expected until 9:30 p.m., thousands of supporters had been gathering at the airport for several hours.
Coming from Dakar and the interior of the country, fans draped in the national colors transformed the airport into a veritable cauldron. Patriotic songs, traditional dances and the sounds of drums resonated in a festive and fervent atmosphere.
The emotion is palpable on site. The fans, visibly eager, chant the players' names and express their pride in the national team. Everything is being done to give the "Lions," symbols of the unity and passion of the Senegalese people for football, a welcome worthy of the occasion.
