Affaire Khadija Sow : son époux visé pour coups mortels sur instruction du procureur Saliou Dicko
In its Wednesday edition, our colleagues at L'Observateur announced the death of TikToker Khadija Sow and the arrest of her husband, Mr. Seck. However, Seneweb has learned more about the initial findings of the investigation. According to our sources, her husband, the main suspect in this case, is being prosecuted for manslaughter on the instructions of Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the prosecutor's office at the Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court.
It all began on Saturday, March 21, when the Urban Security of the central police station in Guédiawaye received a requisition from the King Baudouin Hospital for the purpose of an autopsy of the body of Khadija Sow, aged 26, a trader, residing in Guédiawaye.
The death certificate shows that the deceased, who was in an advanced state of pregnancy, had been admitted to this establishment following a medical emergency.
What her husband told investigators before his arrest
Under questioning, Mr. Seck stated that his wife had complained of headaches on the evening of Friday, March 20th to Saturday, March 21st, around 11:00 PM, before collapsing in her room. She was then taken to the hospital by taxi, where she was pronounced dead.
Following the autopsy performed at Idrissa Pouye General Hospital, the medical certificate of death confirms that Khadija Sow was 27 weeks pregnant. The medical report indicates decompensated dilated heart disease and a scalp hematoma without fracture, as noted by the forensic pathologist, according to Seneweb sources.
Having been informed of the latest developments in the investigation, Prosecutor Saliou Dicko ordered Mr. Seck to be taken into custody for manslaughter.
