Affaire Pape Cheikh Diallo et Cie : les frontières verrouillées
The manhunt intensifies in the "Pape Cheikh Diallo and associates case." In its Saturday, April 25th edition, Libération reports that the Border Police Directorate (DPAF), "on high alert," is implementing "restrictive" measures targeting several suspects already identified by the Keur Massar Research Brigade (BR). The instructions are strict: immediate arrest and systematic confiscation of travel documents for all those involved.
This system also facilitated the arrest, on April 23, of A. Dieng, 33, a sales agent residing in Tivaouane Peulh. He was arrested at the Rosso-Senegal border crossing as he attempted to leave the country for Mauritania. Identified through the "Securiport" system, he was subject to an entry restriction order issued two days earlier. After his arrest, he was handed over to local authorities before being transferred to Dakar.
His arrest brings to eleven the number of alleged partners of singer Djiby Dramé already arrested in this case, following in particular the stylist El HA Dramé, arrested in Rufisque.
This strategy of restricting access has already led to several other arrests. On March 27, Dr. SM Guèye was intercepted at the Blaise Diagne International Airport (AIBD) as he was preparing to travel. On February 20, S. Mbaye, known as "Zale," was also arrested in Nioro, the same source recalls.
