Un cabinet médical clandestin démantelé à Ouakam: Deux étrangers arrêtés par la gendarmerie
The Ouakam territorial brigade, under the command of Major Ndoye, arrested two foreign nationals for illegally practicing medicine, impersonating a doctor, falsifying administrative documents, and endangering the lives of others. According to the information gathered, it all started with information received by the police on Wednesday, February 25, 2026. They were informed that an individual was impersonating a doctor and issuing medical certificates bearing the letterhead of a hospital where he was unknown.
Given the seriousness of the allegations, an investigation has been opened to verify them.
The investigations led to the identification and arrest of the main suspect and one of his accomplices on Friday, February 27, 2026.
The search of their home led to the seizure of several administrative documents, including suspected falsified medical certificates, as well as a batch of medical equipment intended to support their illicit activity.
The investigation is ongoing to determine the extent of their activities and to identify any potential victims.
