Après l’entretien avec Macky Sall, Aziz Rok dit avoir été visé par « des menaces de mort et des attaques racistes »
The popular YouTuber, Aziz Rok, interviewed former Senegalese President Macky Sall at the end of September. During the interview, the president discussed his book, "Africa at Heart," his distinguished political career, and the battles he won, notably the African Union's admission to the G20. The video of this interview garnered one million views and over 12,000 comments. A success, all things considered.
This interview, "I did it to build myself up"
Behind this success, there have unfortunately been "hurtful words", "death threats, racist attacks" against the famous Youtuber.
He spoke about it in a new video published yesterday, Wednesday, on his YouTube channel H5 Motivation. In the recording, the man informs all his followers, particularly his disgruntled Senegalese subscribers, that he had no intention of "betraying anything" by doing the interview.
“I gave this interview, and it caused controversy in Senegal. Many of my Senegalese followers were angry with me. I understand the emotion. The truth is, I didn’t do it to betray anything. I did it to build myself up,” said Aziz Rok.
