The national public transport company, Dakar Dem Dikk, organized a Christmas party for the children of its employees on Saturday, December 27th, on the esplanade of the Dakar Arena Stadium in Diamniadio. The ceremony was presided over by the Director General, Assane Mbengue.

In keeping with a spirit of solidarity and social commitment, the event unfolded in a festive and convivial atmosphere, marked by the installation of a veritable Christmas village. Children enjoyed a multitude of activities: inflatable structures, painting workshops, and magic shows, among others. Young and old alike shared an unforgettable moment.

In total, over 900 gifts were distributed to employees' children, capping off a day filled with joy and sharing. The event emphasized inclusivity, allowing employees from all departments within the company to share the festivities with their families.

The Managing Director took this opportunity to pay tribute to his teams: "This is the moment to thank all the company's employees, in front of their families, for their unwavering commitment to Senegal and more specifically to Dem Dikk. I am only a servant at the head of this company, and I would like you to know that the country recognizes the work you do every day," said Assane Mbengue.

Speaking on behalf of the Dakar Dem Dikk inter-union group, Masseck Ndiaye warmly thanked the Director General for his ongoing efforts, expressing his hope that these acts of solidarity would continue. He also commended the concrete actions taken by management during 2025, urging them to maintain this momentum for the well-being of the employees.

Through this initiative, Dakar Dem Dikk reaffirms its commitment as a responsible corporate citizen, close to its employees and their families.
