Bakel : Libéré de prison la veille, un Sierra-Léonais retrouvé pendu à un arbre
The lifeless body of a Sierra Leonean national was discovered yesterday morning at the entrance to the town of Bakel. The victim was found hanging from a tree branch with a rope in a wooded area.
Alerted by local residents, firefighters immediately went to the scene, accompanied by members of the gendarmerie brigade. After the usual procedures, the security forces informed the relevant judicial authorities of the situation.
On the instructions of the public prosecutor at the Tambacounda High Court, the body was transported to the Tambacounda Regional Hospital. An autopsy was ordered to confirm the cause of death.
A tragedy that occurred the day after a liberation
According to our sources, the man had just been released from prison the day before he committed the act. Previously, he had been arrested by the Kidira gendarmerie for assault and battery.
Although the victim's nationality has been established, their precise identity has yet to be officially confirmed. This gruesome discovery has plunged the local population into shock and grief.
The investigation continues under the supervision of the public prosecutor's office to clarify the exact circumstances of this tragedy and formally identify the deceased.

Comment peut on incarcérer une personne de surcroît un étranger le libérer un beau jour de prison pour ensuite le jeter en pâture à la rue sans mesure d'accompagnement ni assistance c'est cruel.
