Bambali : La demeure de Sadio Mané transformée en temple du football
Just hours before kick-off of the grand final, the village of Bambali is buzzing with excitement. As with every historic event, Sadio Mané's family home becomes the rallying point for thousands of supporters from the surrounding villages.
The usual calm of this village bordering the Casamance River has given way to a frenzied atmosphere. Cars and motorcycles carrying fans dressed in green, yellow, and red stream in continuously. Their destination is the same: the large compound of the Senegalese star. An impressive catering service has been set up there to welcome visitors and the neighborhood, reports Mamadou Mbodj Mané, president of the local youth association.
A second service is already being prepared to accompany the evening of this grand final.
The highlight of the event is in the courtyard of the house, where a state-of-the-art giant screen has been installed. It is here that the village will come alive with excitement. Local authorities, dignitaries, young people from the academy, and families from neighboring villages gradually gather, transforming the residence into a veritable open-air stadium.
