Bambey : Deux trafiquants interpellés avec 8,45 kg de chanvre indien
The Diourbel Regional Narcotics Brigade carried out a successful operation in Bambey on Sunday, August 25, 2025, with the arrest of two suspected drug traffickers and the seizure of 10 blocks of Indian hemp representing a total weight of 8.45 kg.
This operation was successful thanks to the exploitation of intelligence that revealed the existence of a vast drug trafficking network orchestrated by the two individuals arrested. They were taken into custody for the purposes of the investigation.
Investigations are continuing to identify and dismantle the entire trafficking network and to seize the remaining narcotics in circulation.
This operation is part of the ongoing fight by law enforcement against drug trafficking in the Diourbel region and demonstrates the effectiveness of the specialized services in combating this scourge.
