Through this action, the staff intends to draw attention to several major concerns. At the forefront: the lack of transparency regarding career paths and professional development prospects within the bank. The employees denounce a situation where, despite years of service and daily commitment, opportunities for advancement remain unclear, if not nonexistent.
Another point of contention raised concerns annual performance reviews. According to employees, these exercises are repeated year after year without producing any concrete effects on their career progression. They believe that these reviews, intended to serve as a lever for promotion and recognition of merit, have so far had no real impact on their career paths.
Through this peaceful mobilization, the employees of the Agricultural Bank hope to raise awareness at the hierarchical level and open a constructive dialogue around human resources management, skills development and staff motivation.
This movement, although symbolic, reveals a deep unease which could, if nothing is done, become permanently entrenched in the social climate of the institution.
