«Bébé nameúnala» : le « Mara milliardaire » et l'ado de 16 ans
In late March, Libération revealed that the Criminal Investigation Division (DIC) had dismantled a vast alleged male prostitution ring involving a minor. The case broke in Touba after a father, worried about his 16-year-old son, S. Ndao, raised the alarm.
During Korité (Eid al-Fitr), this father, intrigued by his son's behavior and a lifestyle incompatible with his status as a student, decided to search his phone. The discovery was appalling: videos of sexual acts with adults and explicit messages. He then handed the teenager over to the Ndamatou police station, which immediately contacted the DIC (Criminal Investigation Division).
The investigation uncovered an exploitation scheme that began in 2024. During his hearing, the minor stated that he had been approached at a political rally at the King Fahd Palace by a man named Adama Sène (currently at large). Sène allegedly promised him connections with wealthy individuals, gradually introducing him to a prostitution ring catering to a high-end clientele.
In its Monday edition, Libération specifies that the name of A. Faye, alias the "Billionaire Mara," has emerged among the main suspects. According to the victim's confession, Faye would pick him up at night in Thiaroye in a black BMW and drive him to his apartment in Almadies. A. Faye allegedly met with him six times, giving him sums of 50,000, 110,000, 70,000, 120,000, 60,000, and 300,000 CFA francs respectively, in addition to luxury gifts such as an iPhone 12.
Intercepted voice messages reveal that Faye nicknamed the teenager "Baby". Paradoxically, the same source notes, A. Faye was the one who had the influencers "10,000 Problems" and Lamine Kangam imprisoned when they tried to denounce his activities.
In total, the newspaper reports, 15 people are being prosecuted for conspiracy, pedophilia, repeated rape of a minor, unnatural acts, and intentional transmission of HIV. The DIC (Criminal Investigation Division) is continuing its investigations to identify all the clients of this sordid network.
