Berger égorgé à Warkhokh : le film du drame
The village of Some Dandé, in the Warkhokh commune, is reeling from the brutal murder of SA Sow, a 25-year-old shepherd, which occurred on the night of April 23-24. According to the newspaper L'Observateur, the incident took place around 4:00 a.m. The victim had reportedly entered the bedroom of a married woman whose husband was away on a trip. Alerted by suspicious noises, the husband's brother went to the scene and allegedly surprised the young man. A violent altercation ensued, during which he reportedly stabbed him several times with a machete.
Seriously injured, SA Sow was rushed to Maguette Lô Hospital in Linguère, where he succumbed to his injuries. The medical report describes a deep cervical wound of approximately 12 centimeters, with a severed external carotid artery, which caused fatal bleeding.
Originally from Mogre (in the commune of Barkédji), SA Sow was married and the father of a young child. He was buried on Saturday, April 26th in his native village.
The suspected killer was arrested by the Linguère gendarmerie. He is currently in custody awaiting his appearance before the prosecutor. The investigation is ongoing, reports the newspaper of the Groupe Futurs Médias.
