Boune : Un dealer attaque les policiers avec une barre de fer avant d'être maîtrisé
At around 5 a.m., members of the Research Brigade of the Yeumbeul Comico district police station, returning from an investigation mission in Boune, arrested KS, 22 years old, motorcycle mechanic, residing in Boune, for offering and transferring narcotics and resisting an officer.
The operation followed an anonymous tip reporting intense drug trafficking at a residence in Boune, allegedly run by KS. After a few minutes of surveillance, investigators surprised him in his bedroom. Sensing their presence, he fled through the window via the terrace. The officers staked out the residence and awaited his return.
Upon his return, KS was again surprised in his room. This time, he attacked the officers with an iron wrist guard before being subdued after a fierce resistance, causing minor injuries to Officer S. Gano's shoulder. A search of the room yielded nine packets of cannabis, ten ecstasy pills, and a piece of hashish.
The suspect, who was apprehended with minor injuries to his neck and other parts of his body, was taken to the hospital following a doctor's order. He was placed in police custody. The iron bar was seized and confiscated. Prosecutor Saliou Dicko was informed of the incident.
