BR de Keur Massar : Un détenu, porteur du VIH, avoue avoir multiplié les rapports non protégés depuis 2021
The National Gendarmerie has revealed the latest developments in the investigation into the dismantling of a network of suspected homosexuals by the Keur Massar Research Brigade (BR). According to information obtained by Seneweb from its spokesperson, investigators received a tip-off about a detainee who was HIV-positive.
Thus, the suspect was taken from Rebeuss prison last Saturday for the purposes of the investigation. Under questioning, the inmate admitted to being a carrier of the virus.
“I have had unprotected sex with several partners since 2021,” he confessed during questioning. The results of the requisition sent to the Keur Massar health center confirmed that he is HIV-positive.
The investigations established his involvement with compelling evidence confirming the materiality of his participation in the alleged acts.
Thus, the detainee and the three other people arrested during this weekend were placed in police custody for association of criminals, voluntary transmission of HIV/AIDS, endangering the lives of others, money laundering and complicity in offering or transferring drugs, pending their presentation to the investigating judge.
All four suspects are HIV-positive, according to the police. They also reported having unprotected sex with multiple partners.
