Équipe nationale : Moustapha Mbow confiant pour les prochains matchs
His integration into the group is also going very well: “I was well received. The atmosphere is good. People talk to everyone. It's nice to come and see everyone on the same wavelength.”
The young player shares his personal goals within the national team: “I'm not here to compete, but to learn from others. They've played at levels I haven't reached yet, but I'm ready. If I'm given a chance, I'll take it.”
Regarding the importance of the upcoming matches, he emphasizes: “These are important matches that we must win. People talk about the DRC, but there is the first one (against Sudan) first. We must win here before thinking about the DRC. I hope we will win to qualify for the World Cup. I know our opponents, because I watched the matches. It will not be easy. But the team is ready to win.”
Finally, he pays tribute to his family, a source of motivation: “For me, it’s important for my family. I have two brothers who played, but they didn’t manage to play for the national team. It’s a source of pride for them. They pushed me to move forward. It’s thanks to them that I’m where I am.”
