Connectivité : Expresso Sénégal renouvelle son projet « Hadiyyah » à Touba pour trois ans
Three years after its official launch in August 2023, the operator Expresso Senegal has taken another step in its partnership with the Mouride community. CEO Fatou Sow Kane announced the renewal of the "Hadiyyah Expresso Touba" initiative for another three years. This reaffirmed commitment demonstrates the operator's desire to maintain a long-term relationship with religious authorities, while also expressing "deep gratitude to the General Caliph of the Mourides, Serigne Mountakha Mbacké, for his continued trust."

On a technical level, this new phase translates into concrete investments in the Holy City. The operator's teams have undertaken a "network densification in the Holy City of Touba" to guarantee improved connectivity. The central objective of the offer remains to facilitate the coordination of the Khalif's activities through the provision of "completely free connectivity services, including internet access and telephone calls."
This initiative, dubbed "100% Free for Development," targets key institutions such as the Great Mosque of Touba, Cheikh Ahmadul Khadim University, and the Cheikhoul Khadim Residences. The project's impact also extends beyond Touba, reaching the Daara Mame Diarra of Porokhane through its dedicated foundation. By strengthening this program, Expresso Senegal demonstrates its ambition to promote "digital development and inclusion" at the heart of religious centers, under the evocative slogan: "Gënë yàgg gënë baax" (roughly translated as "Genë yàgg gënë baax," meaning "Genë yàgg gënë baax," meaning "Genë yàgg gënë baax").
