Vidéos polémiques sur TikTok : «Amy Collé Dieng est malade»
Amy Collé Dieng's family is worried. And with good reason. The singer, who lives in Spain, is the target of a social media backlash. In recent days, she has appeared regularly on TikTok in videos spewing insults and accusations, some of which are directed at her own family. "Members of my own family have put a curse on me," she asserts in a recent outburst, reported by L'Observateur, which covered her situation in its Thursday edition. "It's the same practice that killed my parents. You sacrificed me."
While these remarks have shocked many internet users, they have also drawn mockery from many witnesses, who seem to relish them. This is much to the dismay of Amy Collé Dieng's family and friends. "We are doing everything humanly possible to save her from this hell. We have never turned our backs on her," a close friend declared anonymously.
He believes that the artist's exile is not helping matters: "She is far from us, thousands of kilometers away, and that complicates everything. If she were here, we could better support her, care for her, and help her find herself again."
The source interviewed by L'Observateur expressed regret over the mockery that follows Amy Collé Dieng's TikTok posts. "People are exploiting her suffering for attention when they should be praying for her," he suggested. "Amy Collé is ill, she's suffering. What she needs isn't judgment, but support. We are asking the Senegalese authorities, cultural institutions, artists, and all people of goodwill to help us bring her back to the country. Saving Amy Collé means saving a part of our musical heritage."
