Coopération sino-africaine : Quand l’entrepreneuriat rencontre la culture et l’éducation
A promising wind of collaboration is blowing between China and Africa, driven by a major event organized by TIENS Group and DS-COM. More than 200 African members of the DS-COM network recently participated in an immersive stay in China, combining cultural discovery, entrepreneurial strengthening, and sustainable educational engagement. Upon their arrival on October 1 at Beijing Capital International Airport, the delegation members from Senegal, Benin, Togo, and Southern Africa were greeted with exceptional hospitality by the TIENS Group team. This stay offered much more than a simple program of visits: it served as a true bridge between two worlds, where cultures intersect in the service of a shared vision of development.
At the heart of the tour, a visit to the TIENS industrial park allowed participants to immerse themselves in the world of the Chinese group, a global leader in wellness. The discussions highlighted an ecosystem where production, research, and training are closely linked. The TIENS Museum and production units captivated visitors, revealing an organization built on excellence and long-term vision.
The next stop, Beijing, offered the entrepreneurs a powerful cultural experience. Visits to the Great Wall and the Forbidden City were marked by emotion and reflection. For Bineta, a Senegalese entrepreneur, this moment was eye-opening. “These sites remind us that any success requires patience and a long-term vision,” she said.
These discoveries have fostered a better understanding of the link between historical heritage and contemporary success, a parallel that the members of the delegation did not fail to make.
The highlight of this agreement: the signing of a strategic memorandum of understanding between TIENS Group and DS-COM to finance scholarships for young French-speaking Africans. This program, scheduled to begin in 2025, will allow students to attend Tianyuan University, with full tuition coverage and a monthly stipend.
In his speech, Mr. Evrard SOSSOUKPE, President of DS-COM, emphasized that "this initiative is not only educational, it carries with it the hope of a future where every young African can become a driving force for transformation in his country."
Mr. Li Jinyuan, Chairman of TIENS Group, added that “by supporting young African talents, we are investing in a shared future, where cooperation and education will create opportunities for all.
Beyond the journey, this immersion reflects a clear desire to build lasting bridges between Africa and China. The DS-COM-TIENS model is illustrated here as a catalyst for transformation, combining entrepreneurial leadership, cultural heritage, and social impact.
Participants left enriched by experiences, partnerships and renewed aspirations, convinced that Africa has everything to gain by drawing inspiration from integrated and bold models.
