Corruption routière : Ousmane Sonko rend hommage au policier « Amoul Yaakaar »
Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko paid a strong tribute on Tuesday to a national police officer nicknamed "Adjudant Amoul Yaakaar", known for his categorical refusal of any form of corruption in the regulation of road traffic.
Speaking during a visit to the National Police Headquarters, the Prime Minister praised the dedication of this police officer who has become famous among motorists. "Among those who made presentations, there is someone very well-known in this country, nicknamed 'Adjudant Amoul Yaakaar'. But I prefer to call him 'Adjudant Amna Yaakaar'," he declared, playing on words to emphasize the hope inspired by his exemplary conduct.
Ousmane Sonko said he wanted to strengthen this officer "in what he says and in what he does" against corruption, recalling that the nickname "Amoul Yaakaar", which means "no hope", was given to him by road users because "when you come across him in a situation of violation, there is no negotiation possible".
The Prime Minister also denounced corruption as a "major factor of underdevelopment" that must be fought "in all its forms." "From the billion discreetly handed over to a president, a prime minister, a minister or a director general, to the million in taxes or customs, and even the thousand francs given on traffic, it all stems from the same logic," he insisted.
According to him, these diverted resources "could have been used to build a hospital, a school or to extend the electricity network to the most remote localities".
Ousmane Sonko also warned against the human consequences of traffic corruption. "Bribery accepted by a traffic officer can lead to a fatal accident some time later," he insisted, while praising the commitment and rigor of the police warrant officer.
"We must all stand together to fight corruption," the head of government pleaded, calling on all citizens and state agents to demonstrate responsibility and integrity.

Après deux ans de gouvernance je ne vois aucune mesure dissuasive qui pousse les corrompus dans tous les secteurs et surtout la circulation à arrêter.
Il faut purement et simplement les licencier sans droits et les poursuivre en justice.
À titre d’exemple les cars rapides, clandos et autres véhicules éligibles à la casse circulent avec des visites techniques en bonne et due forme. IL FAUT AGIR

De toute facon, rien de ce que le nouveau regime fait n'attenuera votre reelle deception. En tant que citoyen tu te sens affaibli, les faits te laissent bouche cousue plus precisement lorsque les " war gaindé pass" . Ils les encaissent dans les check points au vu et su de tous
