Coups de feu à Touba : Le film d'un braquage spectaculaire, 2 blessés et des téléphones emportés

The Sam neighborhood of Touba was the scene of a spectacular robbery on the night of Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Turbaned bandits armed with machetes and a firearm burst into a shop where customers were inside. They were in a white vehicle, according to the complainant, SM Niang, as reported by Seneweb.

Resistance and violence

The shop workers resisted the attackers. Faced with this resistance, the assailants turned on the customers, snatching several cell phones and injuring two people with machetes. The victims were taken to the hospital before investigators arrived.

Gunshot to escape

During their retreat, the robbers reportedly fired a shot to keep the onlookers at bay before fleeing, according to Seneweb sources.

The Bélel local police unit was alerted on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, to an attempted armed robbery at the shop. An investigation has been launched to identify and apprehend the perpetrators of this audacious robbery.

L'Etat doit donner plus de moyen aux forces de l'ordre de meme que les sapeurs pompier mais aussi de faire en sorte que certains policiers et gendarmes arretent de raqueter les automobilistes et autres. On voit bcp de vehicules qui ne répondent pas aux normes et qui circulent, les camions container sans tislock. Ce gouvernement doit bcp travailler, y'en a marre de ces choses que l'on denonce tous les jours et que vous restez muette ok.
