Démolition d'un bâtiment à Boucotte-Sindian : La mairie de Ziguinchor ouvre des négociations
Negotiations are reportedly underway regarding the demolition of the building located in the Boucotte-Sindian district, on the outskirts of the southern capital, according to a source close to the matter. The source reported that discussions are progressing, and both parties hope for a favorable outcome in the coming hours.
"In the case concerning the demolition of a property belonging to Mamadou Thiam in Ziguinchor, negotiations are underway between the latter and representatives of the town hall," the source tells us. This is in order to avoid possible prosecution against Mayor Djibril Sonko.
Moreover, the mayor was summoned this Thursday, August 14, to the Yamatogne police station to be questioned on this affair which is shaking the city of Ziguinchor.
In the meantime, the ten municipal agents are still in preventive custody, following Mr. Thiam's complaint.

Puisque c'est le maire M. Djibril Sonko qui leur a donné l'ordre, il doit les rejoindre en garde à vue ou alors il faut tous les libérer. Ce Djibril Sonko ne me parait pas être à la hauteur de ses fonctions de maire, même s'il est - parait-il - un inspecteur du trésor.
