Disparition d’Ababacar Sédikh Sy : Thierno Bocoum salue la mémoire d’un bâtisseur et d’un visionnaire
The world of education and business in Senegal is in mourning, with the passing of Ababacar Sédikh Sy, founder of the Supdeco Dakar group, renowned for his innovative spirit, rigor and strategic vision.
Among the many voices that paid tribute to him, that of Thierno Bocoum, president of the AGIR-LES LEADERS movement, was particularly touched by the depth of his testimony.
"It is with deep sadness that I learned of the passing of Mr. Ababacar Sédikh Sy, founder of the Supdeco Dakar group, a builder of institutions, a man of rigor and vision. I had the privilege of teaching at the school he created and I remember him as an enlightened pioneer, convinced that knowledge is a strength and that young people deserve the best tools to rise," said Thierno Bocoum.
The former MP and teacher also wanted to recall the human dimension of the man he considers an uncle of rare kindness. "Beyond the great man, I mourn today an uncle of unparalleled kindness, always attentive, always fair," he said.
For Thierno Bocoum, Ababacar Sédikh Sy's career, "at the crossroads of sport, business and education", will remain a source of inspiration for entire generations.
He offers a prayer for the repose of his soul: "May the Almighty welcome him into His infinite mercy and grant his family, his loved ones and the extended Supdeco family the strength to bear this immense loss."

Le Sénégal perd un grand homme. A travers son école SUP DE CO DAKAR, il a formé une génération entière de leaders pas seulement sénégalais mais africains. Je suis tchadien, diplômé en Master de SUP DE CO DAKAR. Mes condoléances à sa famille et au peuple sénégalais. Paix à son âme !!!
