Arrested since last Monday between Dakar and Saly, six alleged partners of the singer Djiby DRAMÉ were presented this Friday, April 24, to the investigating judge of the first chamber near the High Court of Pikine-Guédiawaye by the BR of Keur Massar.

They were all charged by the investigating magistrate in charge of the case. But three of them were remanded in custody and three others placed under judicial supervision, according to exclusive information.

As a reminder, the six individuals arrested on Monday, April 20, 2026, had romantic relationships with the singer Djiby DRAMÉ, according to evidence collected by investigators through the analysis of their phones.

It all began when the Keur Massar Research Brigade located a suspected associate of the singer in Saly. With the assistance of their colleagues from the Saly Research Brigade, under the Mbour gendarmerie company, this furniture salesman was arrested in the town of Saly before being taken to Dakar.

The ongoing investigation led to the arrest of two more suspects in Grand-Yoff: a tailor and a security guard. Meanwhile, an operation conducted by plainclothes gendarmes in the Water Catchment Zone resulted in the arrest of a craftsman, according to exclusive information.

A surprise raid carried out the same day in Pikine resulted in the arrest of a fifth suspect, also a tailor by trade. Finally, investigators located the sixth suspect in the Rufisque department: an administrative officer, arrested in Kounoune.
