PA Ndoye was referred to the public prosecutor by the Medina district police station for rape and kidnapping of his cousin, Mr. Ba, a 15-year-old ninth-grade student. The case came to light in August 2025.

O. Ba, the victim's father, discovered that his daughter's cousin was having a romantic relationship with his daughter. Worse still, he allegedly spent the night in the minor's room without her knowledge. The father then contacted the Medina district police station.

Upon hearing the interview, Mr. Ba confirmed that P. Al. Ndoye had spent the night of July 23, 2025, in his room, claiming that his motorcycle had broken down. Around 3 a.m., he allegedly made advances toward her before undressing and removing her clothes. However, the young girl allegedly asked him not to go through with it because she was too young. The suspect reassured her, and they flirted before P. Al. Ndoye raped her, according to the victim's testimony.

Questioned briefly about the facts, PA Ndoye admitted to having been in a relationship with his cousin for a year and that he spent the night at her house, during which he allegedly engaged in sexual touching, but denies any penetration.

A requisition addressed to the director of the Abass Ndao hospital center led to the establishment of a medical certificate confirming the victim's irregular hymen, with lesions that appeared old.

At the end of the investigation, the suspect was brought before the public prosecutor for rape and statutory rape.

Second alleged rapist arrested

A few days later, this rape and embezzlement case took a new turn with the arrest of a second suspect. Mr. Diop, arrested by the Medina police at Unit 4 of Parcelles-Assainies, was brought before the court last Friday, accused by Mr. Ba of having also raped her. According to the information gathered, the events allegedly took place in two different locations.
