Drame à Mboro-sur-Mer : Un garçon de 10 ans meurt par noyade
A boy aged around ten drowned while swimming on Monday in Mboro-sur-Mer (commune of Darou Khoudoss), in the department of Tivaouane.
According to the testimonies collected, the child, a student living in Keur Seyni with his parents, had gone to the beach to swim around 3 p.m.
Alerted by local residents, firefighters from the Tivaouane fire station and gendarmes from Mboro quickly responded to the scene. The lifeless body was recovered and then transported to the morgue at the Mame Abdou Aziz Sy Dabakh hospital in Tivaouane.
An investigation has been opened to clarify the facts.
