Drame à Pikine : Après une dispute et une chute mortelle d'une femme de 58 ans chez son amant, le suspect arrêté
A suspicious death has plunged the Lobat Fall neighborhood of Pikine into mourning. A 58-year-old divorced woman died after falling from a two-story building on the night of December 29, 2025, following an argument with her boyfriend. He has been taken into custody for questioning, according to exclusive information obtained by Seneweb.
On December 29, 2025 , at approximately 6:00 a.m., CS, a resident of the ground floor of a villa in the Lobat Fall neighborhood, went to the Pikine district police station to report that he had discovered a seriously injured woman on his doorstep. Upon arrival , police officers found a woman inside the house lying on the floor, with visible injuries to several parts of her body and lying in a pool of blood. Although conscious, she was unable to answer questions about the origin of her injuries.
Signs of a fall and residents' testimonies
During the inspection of the scene, investigators discovered a damaged cell phone and a pack of cigarettes next to the victim. Fragments of slate from the awning attached to the house's gate were also observed, suggesting a fall from the top of the building.
Messrs. CS and OW, residing on the ground floor, as well as Mr. I. Seck, occupying the 2nd floor, all stated that they were alerted by the cries of pain and distress of the victim.
I. Seck explained that he was in a romantic relationship with M. Y. Fall. According to him, she had come to see him earlier that evening at his apartment, but had only stayed briefly in his room. He denied any involvement in the incident.
But according to our sources, the couple had a disagreement before the woman fell.
The firefighters, alerted in an emergency, transported MY Fall, residing in the Lobat Fall neighborhood, to the General Pouye Hospital in Grand Yoff where she remained under observation.
On Thursday, January 1, 2026, the hospital administration informed the Pikine district police station of the woman's death. The public prosecutor at the Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court, Saliou Dicko, was notified.
The arrest of the boyfriend
This is how IS, the deceased's boyfriend, was arrested and taken into custody pending the results of the autopsy which will determine the exact circumstances of the death.

Dans la charia, les femmes divorcées, les veuves, les femmes âgées de plus de 50 ans doivent se marier.
Ce cas est une des raisons pour lesquelles la charia a recommandé la bigamie et autorisé la polygamie.
Au Sénégal, des femmes de 60 ans non mariées prient pour avoir leur Aladji. C'est tout à fait normal. Même si vous leur proposez d'être votre 3ème épouse, elles accepteront.
La polygamie est un système de régulation matrimonial et social qui doit être bien compris et bien appliqué.
