Trafic de drogue à Malika : 8 Sierra-Léonais et un Sénégalais arrêtés par la police dans un appartement

The Malika district police station brought nine individuals before Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office, on Friday for possession, use, and trafficking of narcotics. The group consists of one Senegalese national and eight Sierra Leonean nationals. Kush, ecstasy pills, and psychotropic tablets were seized during the operation, according to Seneweb sources.

It all started with a tip. Informed of the existence of a vast drug trafficking network, the Malika district police station organized a raid on an apartment in the neighborhood. Nine individuals were arrested on the spot.

Concealing in a baby's diaper

At the time of her arrest, R. Camara, 26, a housewife, attempted to conceal psychotropic pills and three small packets of Kush cannabis in the diaper of a two-month-old baby, presented as belonging to a friend who was not present. The police immediately uncovered the ruse.

The meticulous search of the apartment revealed an arsenal of drugs hidden in various nooks and crannies: one hundred and eight pills believed to be ecstasy, fifteen tablets of unidentified pills sold individually, and six small envelopes of Kush discovered on C. Camara, 35, a bricklayer, at the time of his pat-down.

Packaging materials, a pair of scissors and plastic bags were also found in the same room, indicating organized resale activity.

A request has been sent to the Technical and Scientific Police Division to determine the exact nature of the seized tablets.

All residents of Malika unless otherwise stated, the accused are: A. Momo, 38 years old, plumber; M. Massal, 35 years old, fisherman; JM Massaray, 29 years old, fisherman; H. Marocco, 21 years old, claiming to be a footballer, residing in Parcelles Assainies; A. Salamdine, 25 years old, fisherman; C. Camara, 35 years old, mason; R. Camara, 26 years old, housekeeper; I. Cissokho, 20 years old, car washer, the only Senegalese national in the group; I. Kabou, 39 years old, merchant.

At the end of the procedure, the nine accused were presented this Friday before Prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office, for possession, consumption and trafficking of narcotics.
