Summary of the facts
This group of young men and women, some of them minors, had rented a furnished apartment in the Diaksao neighborhood from pharmacist AO Diallo to spend some time alone together. Mr. Ndiaye, 21, had rented the apartment for 40,000 CFA francs per day. The carpenter O. Loum, 17, and the young women B. Diouf and Mr. Ndiaye arrived at the apartment 24 hours before the other members of the group.
The next day, upon the arrival of the last members of the group, AN Diop, alias "Aïda," 21, placed an order for MD-MA. A man named Cheikh told her that B. Sarr, alias "Bineta the Mechanic," 22, and his group would need the drug. He put her in contact with O. Bampoki, 21. Aïda ordered the drugs for 10,000 CFA francs, which she paid via Wave.
The suspected drug dealer arrived at the apartment and delivered baking soda instead of the MD-MA they were expecting. Seeing no effect, Aïda called O. Bampoki to complain about the quality of the product before canceling the Wave transaction.
It was then that O. Bampoki returned to the apartment accompanied by his friend F. Mbow, 20 years old, both armed with knives. Upon their arrival, a fight broke out with the group of young people present in the apartment.
On Friday, January 2, 2026, around 4 p.m., the gendarmes of the Keur Massar Territorial Brigade were alerted to an armed fight in this furnished apartment. According to the informant, it was all related to a drug deal; the delivery had not gone as planned.
The police arrested all the protagonists, with the exception of the delivery man nicknamed "Tiak-Tiak" who fled. During the night of January 2, 15 people were taken into custody.
The revelations of the investigation into lesbianism
During the investigation, the police learned that Mr. Ndiaye, who had rented the apartment, had homosexual tendencies. Images and videos found on his cell phone show him offering a bouquet of flowers and a ring to a partner. In another video, he appears kissing a girl.
As for the apartment manager, O. Diallo, he provided no justification for failing to verify the identity of people entering and leaving his establishment. Meanwhile, AO Diallo, the pharmacist, operated tourist accommodation without administrative authorization.
