Ensa-Thiès : un 3e mot d'ordre de 72H de grève à compter du jeudi 25 septembre annoncé
After two 72-hour strikes, the Autonomous Union of Higher Education (SAES) branch of the National Higher School of Agriculture (ENSA) in Thiès has decided to renew a 72-hour strike order. It will begin this Thursday, September 25.
The ENSA SAES section held a general assembly on Thursday, September 18, 2025. The objective was to assess the progress of the protest movement that began on September 11, 2025. This assessment revealed that, despite two 72-hour strikes and one walkout, no significant progress has been made on the six points of demand. The situation remains worrying, with the School operating without a specific accounting officer, with governance bodies that have not been renewed, and an insufficient budget, among other difficulties.
ENSA is almost at a standstill
The section considers holding the management elections to be an absolute priority. Faced with the persistence of these shortcomings, the ENSA SAES section has decided to renew a 72-hour total strike, starting Thursday, September 25, 2025. A new General Assembly is convened for Friday, September 26, 2025 at 10 a.m. The section reaffirms its availability for dialogue, while remaining firm in the implementation of its action plan.
It urges the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI) to play its full role in the search for rapid and sustainable solutions, in order to enable the ENSA to operate in accordance with its status and to contribute effectively to achieving the objectives of national food sovereignty.
As a reminder, the points of demand revolve around academic and institutional governance, the failure to organize elections for the Director, the Director of Studies and the Heads of Department; the failure to establish governance bodies, in particular the Board of Directors...

Le Sénégal n'a-t-il pas payé les études des 3 mecs qui aujourd’hui ont des fonds politiques respectifs de 11 milliards, 9 milliards et 5 milliards ? Ceux-là même qui avaient promis de supprimer ces fonds les ont plutôt multiplié par 3 et se promènent dans l'avion que Macky Sall n'aurait jamais dû acheter d'après le grand bonimenteur certifié...
le SAES est un syndicat de rentiers composé de super titrés avec peu de d'heures de travail et toujours dans la paralysie
parlons avec eux de l'argent généré par la fonction services ou de l'encadrement des étudiants

J ai finis l école en 1990 au Sénégal. Durant mon cursus scolaire non prof on jamais fait la grève. Je pense qu’il est temps de privatiser le système des enseignants au Sénégal. Un enseignant ne doit pas faire partie de la fonction publique. Même le président américain est entrain de se débarrasser de son département de l éducation nationale et laisser chaque état gérer l éducation
