In a press release signed by Colonel Ibrahima Ndiaye, the High Command of the Senegalese National Gendarmerie wished to provide clarification following the dissemination, on certain digital platforms, of false announcements relating to an alleged recruitment at the National Gendarmerie Non-Commissioned Officers' School (ESOGN) for the 2026 session.

For some time now, false information has been circulating on the internet, announcing the opening of an ESOGN entrance exam. These publications invite interested candidates to contact a telephone number for information on registration procedures.

The National Gendarmerie's Communications and Public Relations Division (DCRP) formally denies this information, stating that it is unauthenticated content intended to deceive citizens.

Faced with these fraudulent maneuvers, the National Gendarmerie calls on citizens to be extremely vigilant and urges them to:
