Faux visas pour la Turquie : un réseau d’arnaque cerné par la Brigade de Recherches
In August, the Research Brigade dismantled a Turkish visa fraud network, arresting two individuals, Aliou N. and Moussa D. The investigation was opened following a complaint from the director of the visa application center at the Turkish embassy in Dakar.
The Observer, which provided the information, claims that the network operated in an organized manner: Aliou N., acting as an intermediary, gave fake receipts to the victims and promised them fake visas.
Arrested in Fass Mbao, he named Moussa D. and a certain Abdoulaye G. as the masterminds of the scam. Moussa D. was arrested at a fake travel agency in Thiaroye Hamo, where investigators seized numerous fraudulent documents, including passports, fake bank statements, and forged stamps.
Aliou N. and Moussa D. were referred to the public prosecutor, while Abdoulaye G. remains at large. The investigation continues, as other victims may be identified, L'Observateur understands.
