According to testimonies gathered by Seneweb, the use of this Taurus brand pistol is reserved exclusively for the defense and security forces (FDS). The suspect has neither a permit to carry a firearm nor the necessary administrative documents for his weapon.
Investigators have issued a warrant to track down the seller. But the buyer seems unwilling to cooperate on this point.
Testimonies gathered indicate that the two families no longer speak the same language since this domestic tragedy that occurred last Saturday.
Those close to the suspect told investigators that the couple was deeply in love. However, the suspect's in-laws stated the opposite. Therefore, a neighborhood inquiry could likely help to resolve the conflicting accounts.
Initial findings from the investigation have not yet determined whether this was a murder. For this reason, the suspect has been in police custody since Saturday on suspicion of manslaughter. The investigation is ongoing to clarify the circumstances of the case.
