FONGIP : Une année 2024-2025 marquée par des performances exceptionnelles
The Priority Investment Guarantee Fund (FONGIP) confirms its key role in the economic and social development of Senegal by unveiling an impressive report for the year 2024-2025. Thanks to the unwavering commitment of its teams and strengthened partnerships, the institution not only achieved, but also exceeded the majority of its objectives.
Remarkable financial results
Through rigorous management and strategies tailored to the needs of Senegalese entrepreneurs, FONGIP has been able to mobilize substantial financial resources. Specifically:
13.5 billion FCFA have been granted in the form of financing guarantees, enabling many entrepreneurs to realize their projects and actively participate in the national economy.
1.1 billion FCFA has been granted in refinancing loans by microfinance institutions supported by FONGIP, thereby strengthening their capacity to support small and medium-sized enterprises.
In total, 26.5 billion FCFA of credits were allocated , representing a massive and strategic investment in the Senegalese economy.
A transformative social impact
Beyond the figures, FONGIP's impact is also measured by the lives transformed. In 2024-2025, the institution contributed to the creation of 20,000 jobs , thus offering new opportunities to thousands of Senegalese families and actively participating in reducing unemployment in the country.
