Liberté 4 : l’ingénieur informaticien enlève sa fille et la change d’école, son ex-épouse déjoue ses plans
AS Aïdara, a computer engineer, was brought before the prosecutor's office last Monday on charges of kidnapping a minor. The alleged victim is his 12-year-old daughter, KKC Aïdara, whom he had with his ex-wife, D. Ly, who was granted custody by court order.
Returning home from work on the evening of May 18th, she noticed her child was missing. She began a search, but found nothing that day. Immediately, she suspected her husband of having repeated the abduction of their first three children, who now live abroad.
Despite the woman's attempts to get her daughter back, the computer engineer remained unmoved. D. Ly filed a complaint, and AS Aïdara was arrested by the DIC at AIBD airport.
Libération, which is reporting on this case, reports that, when questioned by investigators, the accused admitted the facts and confessed that after picking up the child, he first took him to his home in Yoff Virage before entrusting him to his grandfather in Ouakam.
The newspaper points out that the computer technician, to justify the abduction, indicated that he decided to get his daughter back after she informed him by message, while he was abroad, that her mother was beating her.
"Faced with the court decision granting custody to his ex-wife, AS Aïdara has pledged to comply. However, he specified that his daughter is currently in a private school in Yoff and she risks losing this school year if her mother were to take her back," adds Libération.
