Gendarmerie nationale : la 44e promotion de l'ENOA de Thiès découvre l'état-major
The National Gendarmerie opened its doors on Monday, May 4, 2026, to the 44th graduating class of the National School for Active Duty Officers (ENOA) in Thiès. The officer cadets were welcomed at the Samba Diéry Diallo barracks in Colobane for a day of enriching and informative immersion.

The visit began with an institutional presentation of the National Gendarmerie, followed by a demonstration by elite units and an exhibition of technical and operational resources. The future leaders of the Defense and Security Forces then participated in discussions with officers on ethics, leadership, and contemporary challenges in territorial security and criminal investigation. The day concluded with a tour of the High Command's strategic facilities.

According to Colonel Ibrahima Ndiaye, this immersion goes beyond mere military tradition. It allows future officers to better understand the missions of the Gendarmerie and to strengthen inter-service cohesion, "a true pillar of national stability."
